Modern Religious Movements on Romanian Territory Can Evangelical Cults in Romania Historically be Seen as NeoProtestant?

Abstract In order to define the new religious movements on Romanian territory beginning in 19th century, following terms need be explained: sect Church, Evangelical and Neo-Protestant Church. First, term ‘sect’ has negative connotations, it is being used more seldom after Communist era. Second, ‘Evangelical’ currently accepted even by historians (such as Dorin Dobrincu) but still can confusing because refers German Lutherans. Finally, ‘Neo-Protestant’ problematic lead confusion about modern Lutheran Protestantism, which called Neoprotestantismus. This work uses will shown that these cults have a historical sustainability of classical Protestantism bringing aspects respecting same frame, matrix.
